About Me

Dr. Kaushik Prajapati

FRACP general medicine + Perioperative Medicine consultant
I am very pleased to introduce myself. I am a skilled and accomplished General Physician with a specific interest in Renal and Perioperative medicine. I have a Fellowship of RACP (Royal Australasian College of Physicians) in internal medicine and a graduate certificate of perioperative medicine from Monash University.
I have a specific interest in chronic kidney disease, perioperative medicine, and its related issues. I pride myself on being a highly professional doctor with over ten years of experience in various medical departments. Whilst working in India, I was exposed to a wide range of patients. In addition to this, working in central Australia with indigenous communities helped me to gain a better understanding of patient’s culture and their background in the context of illness and treatment. I can apply knowledge of tropical medicine along with general medicine to appropriate patient cohorts in critical situations after having worked for four years in North Queensland. Initially, as an advanced trainee and then as a general medicine physician, I have worked with various metropolitan hospitals, including Eastern Health, Austin, and Northern Health. I have experience in successfully managing patients with complex co-morbidities through my high level of care, which allows me to achieve the best possible outcomes for my patients.
I am a member of RACP college and a licenced General Physician with a proven track record of success in meeting all assigned objectives.
